Databalance reschedules VirtualStorm day |
April 20th, 2010, Databalance reschedules customer VirtualStorm day. Due to flight cancellations caused by the Icelandic Volcano ash cloud none of the team members could attend that were supposed to host the VirtualStorm day at Databalance on the 23rd of April 20. Therefore Databalance has rescheduled this day to May 20th of 2010. No trans-atlantic flights by DinamiQs team members planned.

March 26, 2010 The 23rd of April there will be a customer event at Databalance in Holland for many of their existing, but also for their new clients, to demonstrate the capabilities and advantages of operating inside a fully virtualized desktop environment that provisions desktops and applications on demand and in near real-time.

Today the offices of DinamiQs in Almere were graced by the visit of Mr. Andreas von Bechtolsheim, co-founder of Sun Microsystems and various other companies, now Chief Development Officer and Chairman of Arista Networks. (http://www.aristanetworks.com) The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the technologies of both companies and the role that both companies intend to have in future Cloud Initiatives, as well as establishing the proper channels.

Almere, 20-02-2010 At the upcoming CeBit from 2 - 6 March DinamiQs will again showcase the latest technological breakthroughs in extreme scale Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. The aim is to exceed the numbers that were witnessed during the showoff at VMWorld 2009 in San Francisco. EMC has graciously made available a V-Max storage array with over 100TB of disk-storage(regular and SSD), to which a sizeable set of compute blades have been added (Intel 5500 with sufficient memory) plus some high speed interconnects from Arista. Unfortunately Cisco was unable to provide their UCS blades for this show. The demo will be held at the booth of our reseller, ForceFusion, who have made 50 square meters of space available to show what is possible in VDI land. Think high speed deployments, instantaneous enterprise wide application provisioning, extreme densities and a single multi-thousand user VDI environment that is running at full speed.
